HYPE! HYPE!! HYYYYPE!!!

Its the perfect game in the sense that everything is there, A badass character that saves the day, antagonists, shops to buy some sick weapons. The bow?? AWESOME!! The bomb?? Stupendereficious. Its all there and delivered perfectly, concise and to the point that anyone can figure out. Except the guy whos asking how to jump when theres nothing to jump.... ;)

On a different note, this formula is the basis to all games. Its sad to think how many countless games Ive played that were hyped up to the nuts stating "original masterpieces" or "unforgettable" There are a few games that do stand out in my mind like Legend of Dragoon and Star Ocean 2nd story (PS1 ftw) but so many are forgotten and a complete waste of time, money and brain cells. For example PIMP MY RIDE and every DYNASTY WARRIORS or crappy ass MOVIE based game. The main reason I play games is for the story and the interaction keeps me interested. Too many games use graphics and engines they run to sell games and its BullshiT. Give me Legend of Dragoon, Chronicles, FF7, Suikoden, Zelda . Ill take these games anyday when people actually gave a rats ass about originality instead of pumping so much crap out like exlax at a fat camp. How many more pokemon games can possibly be crammed into the shelves. There are a few games like Fallout 3, Bioshock, and GTA that have come along that made good, but 3 games out of a 100 is not a great ratio. :(

Anyways, Originality goes a long ways, and thats what I got outta this game, its time to get back to originality, putting time, effort and drawing people into to play them again and again instead of dishing out more crap that will only be played once for 10 minutes and never again. I hope you enjoyed reading this as much as I enjoyed reading what the princess said, lol. 11/10

The guy who gave me a 1 for the fact that he couldn't jump needs to learn to actually play the game.

As for your second point, I agree completely. This game was made as a tribute to those games that we forgot, those games that kept it simple, but also kept it entertaining. Nowadays people think keeping it simple is making one button controls or throwing "Wii" infront of a word and making a stupidly boring game populated by heads on stumps, but that's not it. I really think the future of games relies on the independent developer, simply because independent developers are increasingly proving themselves as the only ones that don't fall under the influence of money and make games that are unique and fun.

I enjoyed what you write, mostly because it's true and well written. You captured my emotions, and you captured my feelings.

Err...

Purple 'n' pink panthers in the laundromat Batman, lock the goat to the freezer and lets blow like leaves. Yeah that about says it.

my thoughts exactly

Just because someone starts yelling doesnt mean there views on the situation are better. It just means they are stuck in their frame of mind, and ran out of valid points. Solutions are not always a one size fits all.
